Independent candidate Muhammad Saqib Chadhar from PP-97 joined the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Sunday.
Chadhar had called on PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif in Lahore. On this occasion, Shehbaz Sharif welcomed Chadhar into the PML-N.

Earlier, Chadhar had emerged victorious with 42,959 votes as an independent candidate in the recently held elections.

Meanwhile, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf-backed candidate Waseem Qadir today (Sunday) decided to join the PML-N.
The development came after Qadir called on PML-N Chief Orgainser Maryam Nawaz.
