Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari and US Ambassador Donald Blome exchanged views on the country's political situation on Sunday.
The former foreign minister had called on Blome in Islamabad. According to the party sources, the meeting was a "goodwill gesture" during which Pakistan-United States relations were discussed.

On Saturday, Bhutto-Zardari said that his party does not even try to contact Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Barrister Gohar Ali Khan.
Expressing his thoughts, the former foreign minister said, "I have no knowledge about any contact between the PPP and Barrister Gohar Ali Khan."
"The coalition government will definitely based on political give-and-take. I will try to convince the allies to abolish the 17 ministries," he said.
Speaking about the implementation of the PPP's manifesto, Bhutto-Zardari said: "I do not have a clear mandate for the implementation of the party's own manifesto."
