In an important development regarding governance in Balochistan, the Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) have reached an agreement to form a coalition government in the province.
The Chief Ministerial position is set to be held by a member of the PPP, emphasizing their dominance in the alliance. Adding to their strength, three independent candidates have pledged their support to the PPP, further solidifying the party's position.
Sources reveal that negotiations have successfully concluded with various political parties, including the PML-N and BAP, to establish a stable coalition government.
A two-member team has been formed to approach independent candidates, while all PPP members have been summoned in Islamabad.
To bolster their support base, former President Asif Ali Zardari has personally met with independent candidates from Balochistan, namely Liaquat Lehri, Asfand Yar Kakar, and Maulvi Noorullah.
Following productive discussions, these independent candidates have officially aligned themselves with the PPP, amplifying the party's influence in the region.
