The administrative landscape of Punjab witnessed a shuffle on Wednesday as the Services & General Administration Department (S&GAD) issued a notification announcing the transfer of Commissioners in Multan and Rawalpindi.
As per the notification issued by the Services & General Administration Department (S&GAD), Amir Khattak will now serve as the Commissioner of Rawalpindi. This move brings his experience and leadership to a new region, potentially impacting the administrative landscape of Rawalpindi.
Meanwhile, Maryam Khan, previously holding the position of Secretary I&C, will assume the role of Commissioner Multan. Her expertise and knowledge from the industrial and commercial sector could prove valuable in overseeing the development and governance of Multan.
Earlier, Director General (DG), of Rawalpindi Development Authority, (RDA), Muhammad Saif Anwar Jappa, had been assigned the additional charge of the post of Commissioner, Rawalpindi Division.
According to a notification issued by Chief Secretary Punjab, Zahid Akhtar Zaman, DG RDA had been given the additional charge of the post of Commissioner Rawalpindi Division in addition to his own duties.
Liaquat Ali Chatta, Commissioner Rawalpindi Division has been transferred with immediate effect and directed to report to the Services and General Administration Department, Government of the Punjab.
