Quetta Gladiators player Khawaja Nafay picked up former Pakistan captain Babar Azam and Indian captain Rohit Sharma as his favourites on Wednesday.
Speaking exclusively to Samaa TV, Nafay said: “I would like to score the runs the way Babar Azam used to do.”.
He made it clear that he was currently focusing on the ongoing edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
“Representing our country is the will of every cricketer,” he added.
Praising Pakistan T20 and Lahore Qalandars captain Shaheen Shah Afridi, saying, “Shaheen Shah Afridi is a legend. The way Shaheen Shah Afridi acknowledged me, it also gave me confidence.”
He recalled his electrifying performance against the Qalandars on Monday, saying, “There is no doubt about the fact that Shaheen Shah Afridi and Haris Rauf are the best bowlers. When I arrived on the wicket, I was focusing on the ball, not on their faces (Shaheen Shah Afridi and Haris Rauf).”
