Following a couple of weeks of speculation, Bollywood star couple Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone have confirmed they are expecting their first child.
The couple took to their respective Instagram accounts to share a graphic that mentioned that the baby was set to arrive in September 2024. The post, shared by both Deepika and Ranveer, featured images of a baby's rattles, head caps, onesies and shoes.

Sonam Kapoor greeted by saying, "Congratulations", while Bhumi Pednerkar sent a heart emoticon to the parents-to-be.
Speculations that Deepika was pregnant were rife following her appearance at the BAFTA awards red carpet earlier this month, where she opted to wear a saree and strategically covered her abdomen.
