Quetta Gladiators spinner Abrar Ahmed said on Thursday that he had learned a lot from former Pakistan captain Sarfaraz Ahmed.
Expressing his thoughts after bagging 3-31 in his four overs, Ahmed said: “I had some support after the innings moved a bit forward. I have come back from injury, and the team’s environment is quite good.”
“I am working on some more varieties. I used to make a gesture towards the dressing room after taking the wickets,” he added.
Ahmed said, “What I can only do is work hard and deliver for my team.”
He stated, “In the past, I had some opportunities to represent Islamabad United.”
Underscoring the differences in the playing conditions in Karachi and Multan, Ahmed said: “I received more help here in Karachi as compared to Multan.”
Giving his take regarding the “mystery” spinner Usman Tariq (2-16), Ahmed said: “I can only comment about Usman Tariq after becoming the coach.”
