Another air hostess of PIA assigned to Toronto flight from Karachi has disappeared after leaving the hotel as flight steward Jibran Baloch is the second air hostess to slip away this month.
On February 29, Flight 782 did not arrive for the scheduled return duty. Flight steward Jibran Baloch is the second air hostess to slip this month.
On the search of Jabran Baloch's room by the staff, it was revealed that he had slipped. A few days ago, a female air hostess also went missing from the hotel. About 12 air hostesses assigned to Toronto flights have slipped in a few months.
Must Read: 'Thank you, PIA': Another air hostess slips away in Canada
Earlier, an air hostess of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) allegedly went missing while on duty in Canada.
The incident came to light when Maryam Raza, assigned to flight PK 782 from Pakistan to Toronto, failed to report for duty on the return flight, PK 784 from Toronto to Karachi. Sources privy to the matter said that upon investigation, a note expressing gratitude to PIA was discovered alongside her hanging uniform in her room which read out "Thank you, PIA."
This marks the third reported case this year of PIA flight attendants allegedly 'slipping' while on duty, with two of them being women.
Despite measures such as collecting passports of flight attendants assigned to Toronto flights to prevent such incidents, the effectiveness of these policies has come under scrutiny.
