Kate Middleton was seen for the first time since December on Monday, as she continues to heal in solitude after undergoing scheduled stomach surgery earlier this year.
The Princess of Wales, 42, was seen in photographs obtained by US media sitting in the passenger seat of an Audi driven by her mother, Carole, nearby Windsor Castle.
Middleton sought to maintain a low profile by wearing sunglasses and smiling slightly.
US media has contacted Kensington Palace for comment.
The encounter comes as crazy conspiracy theories surrounding Middleton's whereabouts dominate the Internet.
In January, Kensington Palace stated that Middleton would remain behind closed doors until after Easter and that they would "only be providing significant updates."
“That guidance stands,” her rep told US Media last week.
Middleton's 41-year-old husband, Prince William, reinforced the conspiracy theories by canceling a memorial ceremony for his godfather, Greece's late King Constantine II, on Feb. 27 due to "a personal matter." However, the palace stated that Middleton was "doing well" in the same statement.
The mother-of-three spent 13 days at the London Clinic in January before returning to Adelaide Cottage in Windsor to rejoin with William and his children.
“The Princess of Wales has returned home to Windsor to continue her recovery from surgery. She is making good progress,” Kensington Palace said in a statement upon her release.
“The Prince and Princess wish to say a huge thank you to the entire team at the London Clinic, especially the dedicated nursing staff, for the care they have provided.”
William made a rare personal comment regarding Middleton's recovery during the 2024 BAFTA Film Awards.
When asked if he was on Team "Barbie" or "Oppenheimer" — referring to the successful flicks' friendly rivalry over the summer — William said he hadn't had much time to sit down and watch movies.
“I’ve done [watched] the fewest I’ve ever done before — with my wife it’s been a bit—,” he said last month, without elaborating too much.
“But hopefully, we’ll catch up, I’ll make my list tonight,” the heir to the throne added. “I’m a big fan of Christopher Nolan so I’ll be pleased if he wins, I loved ‘Oppenheimer.’”
“I haven’t watched ‘Barbie’ yet, but I want to,” William claimed.
The future king, on the other hand, remained silent when a reporter in Wrexham, Wales, asked him directly about his wife on Friday.
According to a video acquired by the Daily Mail, a member in the audience asked the Prince of Wales, "How's Catherine?" William remained mute and continued walking.
However, he did answer when a fan requested for a selfie.
“Can I say hello to the team? I’ll come back,” William offered at the time.
