A delegation of Hindu yatrees consisted of 200 Hindu pilgrims reached Pakistan from India via wahga border for the celebration of Hindu shivratri festival.
Authorities from Evacuee Trust Property Board and local Hindu leaders welcomed the Hindu pilgrims.
All arrangements regarding security, transportation and accommodation of the pilgrims were made. As per the schedule, after staying at Lahore on March 6 the pilgrims will leave for Katas Raj on March 7.
The main function of Mahashivratri will be held on March 9 at the historic Katas Raj Temple in Chakwal.
The pilgrims will return to Lahore on March 10. On March 11, the pilgrims will visit Krishna Temple, Lahore Fort and other historical places.
Hindu pilgrims will leave for India on March 12.
