In a concerted effort to combat illegal trafficking, FC Balochistan (North) in collaboration with other law enforcement agencies has undertaken a series of operations across various regions of Balochistan.
The operations, conducted between February 1 to March 5, 2024, have yielded substantial results, with a significant amount of contraband intercepted and seized.
During this period, a staggering 214 metric tons of sugar, 54 metric tons of betel nuts, 700 kilograms of narcotics, 699,000 liters of Iranian diesel, along with other items including china salt, tires, cigarettes, and non-customs paid vehicles, were confiscated.
These operations were meticulously carried out in areas spanning Pashin, Mastung, Zhob, Nushki, Chaman, Dera Allah Yar, and the Pak-Afghan border zones.
The smugglers, employing various tactics including concealment within trucks and passenger buses, were thwarted in their illicit activities by the vigilant actions of FC Balochistan personnel. Timely interventions by the jawans ensured the apprehension of the culprits and the subsequent confiscation of the illegal goods.
