In a gesture of goodwill and inclusivity, the government has announced plans to disburse all allowances and pensions in advance to federal employees from the Christian community ahead of the Easter celebrations.
According to a notification issued by the Ministry of Finance, Christian employees will receive their salaries and pensions by March 26th, well ahead of the Easter celebrations on March 31st. This move aims to ease financial burdens and allow Christian families to celebrate Easter with greater joy.
The notification instructs the Accountant General Pakistan Revenue, Military Accountant General, Chief Accounts Officer, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to ensure the timely disbursement of these payments.
