Following his bail, Fawad Chaudhry, former minister for science and technology, has been released from Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi.
Former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader’s wife Hiba Chaudhry confirmed his release in her latest Tweet.
On April 1, the Islamabad High Court had granted bail to Fawad Chaudhry in the Jhelum land scandal case, directing his release from custody.

This decision came following a bail plea hearing held by a division bench comprising Chief Justice Amir Farooq and Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri.
Chaudhry, who was nominated in a case registered by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) related to land in Jhelum, had his lawyer, Qaiser Imam, represent him in the Islamabad High Court.

Despite initial rejection of the bail application, the court later approved bail for Chaudhry and ordered his release from custody.
It's worth noting that Chaudhry had filed an application for re-arrest after being granted bail.
