Information Minister Attaullah Tarar has stressed that Pakistan will not allow anyone to disturb its peace and order, confirming that a committee was formed for inquiry into the Dasu attack, which killed five Chinese engineers.
Addressing a news conference, the minister disclosed that based on the inquiry committee report, it had been decided to take action against some officials, including the Hazara regional police officer, the district police officer of Upper and Lower Kohistan.
Moreover, action will also be taken against the security director of the Dasu Power Project as well as the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Special Security Unit commandant, he added.
Tarar said disciplinary action would be taken against these officers in 15 days. "The inquiry report states that the officers were negligent in their duties," he added.

He further commented that the enemies of the country could not digest the development of Pakistan. Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif always gave importance to the Pakistan-China friendship while Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif personally went to Dasu to meet the Chinese engineers after the attack on their fellows.
"The prime minister is personally monitoring the security of Chinese citizens," he asserted.
Additionally, he said positive signs had started to emerge regarding the economy, while positive news about Pakistan's economy is appearing in global media. "Bloomberg also predicted a decrease in inflation and an increase in growth," he added.
