Eid Al-Fitr prayers will be offered across various parts of Pakistan on Saturday, with distinct timings set for different mosques and Eidgahs.
According to details, Multan, Sharaqpur, Swat, Bajour, Attock, Peshawar and were among the cities where Muslims would mark the end of of Ramadan.
In Multan, the grand celebrations would see the congregation at Darbar Hazrat Ghaus Bahauddin Zakariya Multani at 8:00 AM.
Similar timings would be observed at several other places, including Darbar Hazrat Shah Rukn Alam Multani at 8:15 AM and Darbar Hazrat Musa Pak Shaheed at 8:00 AM.
The region’s historic mosques, such as Jamia Masjid Muttazabad and Jamia Masjid Anwarul Uloom New Multan, would also host the prayers at 8:00 AM and 8:30 AM, respectively.
In Sharaqpur, Eid prayers would be held at prominent locations, including the Sharif Shrine, where the prayer would be take place at 8:30 AM.
Jamia Masjid Shah Baghdad at Ghata Stop held its prayer at 7:30 AM, while Jamia Masjid Anwarul Aulia Churagwan Wali and Jamia Masjid Naqshbandiya in Nabi Pura held their prayers at 8:00 AM.
In Swat, the region mourned the loss of nine lives, including women and children, in tragic incidents.
Attock had stringent security measures in place for Eid. The local police had completed their security arrangements, deploying over 1,600 personnel across 350 mosques, 40 Imam Bargahs, and 14 open grounds where Eid prayers would be held. Special arrangements would be made to ensure the safety of closed houses with the installation of night watchmen.
In Bajour, Eidul Fitr would be celebrate with great enthusiasm and fervour. Various mosques in the district conducted the Eid prayers with robust security measures to ensure safety.
Peshawar would see the participation of both Afghan and local residents, especially in areas like Tajabad, Nisar Bagh, and Khurasan Camp.
The communities would gather in large numbers for the Eid prayers, praying for the peace and safety of Pakistan and the Muslim Ummah.
The cities and towns across Pakistan would witness peaceful Eid celebrations, with prayers, unity, and prayers for the nation’s safety marking the day of Eidul Fitr.
