Democratic Workers Union won the State Bank Banking Services Corporation referendum under the leadership of Liaquat Sahi.
The union won 12 out of 16 office referendums across Pakistan.
The Democratic Workers Union secured 428 votes out of 739 votes, while the opposition Labor Union secured 289 votes.
The Democratic Workers Union led by 139 votes.
On the other hand, Democratic Workers Union faced defeat in Hyderabad, Sukkur, Quetta and Peshawar while winning in other offices including Karachi.
