The economic benefits of Balochistan's natural resources are increasingly reaching the local population, with significant contributions from the Oil and Gas Company, MPCL. The company has completed several projects in the Harnai, Bolan, Quetta, and Ziarat areas at a cost of 743 million rupees.
These projects include initiatives in health, education, water supply schemes, electricity and gas supply, and infrastructure development. Security for these projects is provided by the Pak Army and FC Balochistan (North).
In response to the destruction caused by recent floods, MPCL has constructed 45 houses for those in need. Additionally, the company has employed 150 to 200 local people across all its fields, providing much-needed employment opportunities.
Local residents, including Masood Ahmad from Rahahshi Machh and native citizens from Mich, have expressed their satisfaction with the development efforts. They highlight the positive impact on education and the provision of new houses.
MPCL officials emphasize that these efforts demonstrate the tangible benefits of Balochistan's natural resources for the local population, countering any claims to the contrary.
