Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan (South) has successfully foiled an attempt to smuggle sugar from Pakistan to Afghanistan. The operation took place in Killi Gharibabad, Nok Kundi, where a large cache of illegally stored sugar was discovered in a warehouse.
During the raid, authorities seized 1,368 bags of sugar, weighing approximately 70 tons. The confiscated sugar is estimated to be worth 10 million rupees at current market rates.
Following the operation, the warehouse was sealed, and an FIR was registered against the smugglers. The seized sugar and those involved in the smuggling attempt have been handed over to customs officials for further legal action.
This successful operation highlights ongoing efforts to combat cross-border smuggling and protect Pakistan's economic interests.
