Natasa Stankovic, the now-former wife of Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya, has moved to her hometown, Serbia. Hours later, the couple announced their divorce by sharing official statements on their Instagram profile.
On Thursday, Natasa shared an Instagram story featuring a photo from the balcony of her home, and captioned it “Home Sweet Home” with house and white-heart emojis.
This comes just a day after Natasa was seen at the Mumbai airport with their son, Agastya, carrying bags and avoiding the paparazzi. Their early morning departure on Wednesday was widely shared on social media.
Earlier, Natasa had also posted a picture of a suitcase on her Instagram stories with the caption, “It’s that time of the year”, accompanied by an aeroplane and house emojis, suggesting a trip to Serbia. These posts fuelled speculation that Natasa might be permanently leaving Hardik's home, and eventually India. This was later confirmed officially when the divorce was announced.
In a joint statement issued on their Instagram handles, they expressed that this decision was tough but mutual, emphasizing their commitment to co-parenting their three-year-old son, Agastya.
“After 4 years of being together, we tried our best together and gave it our all, and we believe this is in the best interest for both of us. This was a tough decision for us to make, given the joy, mutual respect, and companionship we enjoyed together and as we grew a family,” the statement read.

“We are blessed with Agastya, who will continue to be at the centre of both our lives and we will co-parent to ensure that we give him everything that we can for his happiness. We sincerely request your support and understanding to give us privacy during this difficult and sensitive time,” it added.
Former Bigg Boss contestant and dancer Natasa Stankovic married cricketer Hardik Pandya on May 31, 2020. The couple renewed their wedding vows according to the Hindu and Christian rituals in February 2023.
Rumours of a split between the couple began earlier this year when observant followers noticed that Natasa had removed 'Pandya' from her Instagram handle, raising questions about a possible divorce.
