The fourth spell of monsoon rains in Punjab will begin tomorrow (Monday) and in this regard PDMA has issued an alert to concerned institutions to ensure preparations.
According to a PDMA spokesperson, monsoon rains are predicted in Punjab from July 22nd to 25th as monsoon showers are likely in Lahore, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Multan, Dera Ghazi Khan, Bahawalpur.
Monsoon rains are also expected in Faisalabad, Sahiwal and Gujarat divisions.
The director general of PDMA has issued an alert to the concerned administration about the weather situation. Commissioners, Deputy Commissioners, WASA, Irrigation, Rescue, Civil Defense, and other concerned departments have been instructed to remain alert.
