The Hajj operation that began on May 9 has been concluded on July 21.
The spokesperson of the national airline said PIA's pre-Hajj operation started on May 9 and lasted until June 11 while post-Hajj operation started on June 20 and ended on July 21.
As per statistics, 143 flights were operated in the post-operation, 61 flights were operated for Jeddah, and 82 flights for Madinah while 34,663 pilgrims returned after performing the duty.
“19,278 government pilgrims, 14,754 private pilgrims, and 631 pilgrims performed Hajj,” the PIA spokesperson.
“The PIA arranged city check-in for the pilgrims that helped passengers to avoid the airport hours before,” the PIA said.
