Muslim teachers at a tuition center in Delhi's Shakurpur area were physically assaulted following accusations of forcibly teaching Islamic texts to students. The incident occurred at the Joint Mentor of Discipline tuition center.
Members of Hindutva organizations attacked the center, severely beating the Muslim teachers. The head teacher, Abrar Ali, was critically injured and hospitalized.
The teachers filed a complaint at the Subhash Place police station. However, police officials registered an FIR against the Muslim teachers instead.
According to witnesses, including students and their parents, the allegations against the teachers are false. The conflict reportedly stemmed from a fee dispute between the center's head and a Hindu student's parents.
Despite witness testimonies and evidence supporting the teachers, police have dismissed these accounts and are pursuing action against the Muslim educators.
This incident highlights growing concerns about the treatment of Muslims in India's educational institutions under the current administration.
