The Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry, has once again ignited public debate with his latest decision to divulge private details about the royal family.
This time, his revelations come in a new documentary, "Tabloids On Trial," set to air on ITV1 and ITVX tonight.
The documentary, which delves into the phone hacking scandal involving Britain's tabloid newspapers, features a rare interview with British journalist Rebecca Barry. In it, Prince Harry discusses his ongoing mission to expose the so-called "illegal activities of Britain's tabloid newspapers."
A source close to the royal family expressed concern over Harry's continuous public disclosures. Speaking to Express UK, the source noted, "Never complain, never explain has been the Royal Family's motto for over a hundred years now. Although some of what Harry says might be valid, the family doesn't want to be dragged into any more public media storms."
This latest move by Prince Harry is seen by some as another step in widening the rift between him and the rest of the royal family. The source emphasized that the royal family prefers to handle matters privately and is wary of being drawn into further public disputes. "If there was some kind of media blackout and trust built between Harry and the family, it could lead to a better relationship," the source added.
"But all the while he continues to speak out or make comments about the Royal Family, it's not going to happen. He just needs to learn to keep quiet."
