The Pakistan National Youth Convention 2024 was held in Islamabad from August 20 to 21, 2024. The final day saw the participation of Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir, NI (M).
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif emphasized the government’s multifaceted initiatives aimed at empowering the youth, focusing on education, skill development, and innovation-driven programs. He encouraged young people to seize these opportunities and highlighted the importance of entrepreneurship, critical thinking, and creativity in shaping Pakistan's future.
In his address, Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir remarked, “The sparkle in your eyes assures us that Pakistan's future is in safe hands.” He underscored the significance of an independent state, urging the youth to understand its value by reflecting on the situations in Libya, Syria, Kashmir, and Gaza.
General Munir further stressed that Pakistan’s greatest and most valuable asset is its youth, and the nation will not allow this potential to go to waste.
The convention featured interactive sessions, panel discussions, and a Q&A segment, providing a platform for youth to engage in dialogue with civil and military leadership and other prominent figures.
