An excavator driver in Balochistan's Qila Abdullah district has been hailed as a hero after rescuing five members of a family trapped in floodwaters. The incident occurred in the Armbi area of Toba Achakzai when rising waters stranded a car carrying the family.
Muhib Ullah, the excavator driver, responded to local residents' calls for help. Without hesitation, he risked his safety to reach the trapped family. Using his excavator, he successfully navigated the dangerous conditions to rescue all five individuals.
The rescue operation has been widely praised for demonstrating selflessness and sacrifice during a crisis. In recognition of his bravery, the Corps Commander Quetta awarded Muhib Ullah a cash prize of 500,000 rupees. Additionally, his son received a scholarship under the Balochistan Education Program.
