The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) Normalization Committee has made a momentous decision, and imposed a lifetime ban on its former president, Syed Ashfaq Hussain Shah.
Shah is among the 18 individuals banned by the committee. The PFF disciplinary committee has charged the 18 people on different counts, including allegations of occupation of the PFF House, theft and fraud of Rs4 million.
The disciplinary committee said that 10 of the 18 people allegedly kept PFF vehicles for personal use. It ordered them to return the cars in a week or they would face legal consequences.
An appeal against the ban could be filed within 15 days of the decision, the PFF committee maintains. In case of not filing an appeal, the ban on 18 persons will remain, it added.
