The 25th Asia ITCN Expo, Pakistan's largest IT and telecom event, entered its second day at the Expo Center in Karachi. The expo, which runs until August 29, is showcasing the latest in technology and attracting global investors to Pakistan's tech sector.
Organizers expect the event to generate over $500 million in investments and business opportunities, potentially providing a significant boost to Pakistan's economy. The expo has drawn participation from 750 companies, including global tech giants such as Google, TikTok, Microsoft, Huawei, and local brands like PTCL and EasyPaisa.
The event is also hosting the second edition of the World CIO 200 Summit, a global event held across 55 countries. This addition elevates the expo's international profile and networking potential.
Over 70,000 attendees are expected, including 350 foreign delegates from 17 countries such as Saudi Arabia, China, Singapore, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Iran, Egypt, and the United Arab Emirates. The expo features more than 300 speakers, offering a platform for knowledge sharing and industry insights.
Participants have noted that the event is boosting confidence among international companies to invest in Pakistan. The three-day expo serves as a crucial platform for showcasing Pakistan's IT potential and fostering global partnerships in the tech sector.
