The Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan (North) is leading rescue and relief efforts in the flood-affected areas of Balochistan, in collaboration with the civil administration and other agencies.
Recent heavy rains have caused severe flooding in the districts of Qilla Saifullah, Chaman, and surrounding regions, leading to widespread damage to local communities. The worst-hit areas include Basu Khel, Ali Khel, Akhtar Zai, and Ghari in Qilla Saifullah.
The FC Balochistan (North) has worked closely with the civil authorities to evacuate the affected population to safer locations. Relief items such as ration bags, tents, and blankets have been distributed among the flood victims.
Additionally, the railway track between Quetta and Chaman at the Sariab Bagh location has been closed due to mudslides. The FC, in coordination with the railway administration and other departments, is making efforts to restore the track as soon as possible.
The FC's swift response and collaborative efforts with the civil administration have been instrumental in providing much-needed assistance to the flood-affected communities in Balochistan during this challenging time.
