Caretaker Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Aneeq Ahmed on Tuesday urged the need to overcome the challenges faced by the Muslim world.
Bahrain member of parliament Dr Adil Bin Abdul Rahman called on Aneeq in Islamabad. On the occasion, Aneeq underscored the importance of the entity of the country, saying, ‘’Pakistan came into existence on the basis of Islam.’’
‘’It is against the teachings of Islam to merely think about your own country. There is a dire need for the Muslim world to follow the Holy Quran's teachings. Aneeq added.
Meanwhile, the former deputy speaker of Bahrain said: ‘’The people of Bahrain have a close attachment with Pakistan, the only state to be founded on the name of Islam’’.
Lamenting the Islamophobia, he said, ‘’The world needs to understand the preaching of Islam by stopping being unaware.’’
‘’The Islamic education has been limited at the educational institutions with the passage of time,’’ he rued.
Mr Rahman said, ‘’I would like to invite Minister for Religious Affairs Aneeq Ahmad on the visit of Bahrain’’.
