Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan claimed on Tuesday that the party had no contact with anyone, whether through backdoor or frontdoor channels.
Expressing his thoughts on Samaa TV programme, "Red Line with Talat", Khan clarified that the party founder had made it clear that no one had been authorised to make any deals on his behalf.
He reiterated that negotiations should be held, emphasising that solutions to many political problems could be found through dialogue.
“We also want a political solution to political problems,” Khan said, adding, “Negotiations are a very important thing; negotiations should be held. By sitting for negotiations, solutions to many problems can be found."
"In the situation the country is in, which is the political situation, negotiations are necessary,” he added.
He also acknowledged that contact had been made through Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, stating, “He is doing a very good job. The PTI founder has confidence in the KP chief minister. Whenever there is any contact, we are both together.”
