Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal on Friday emphasised the need for uplifting the space technology for the robust economy of the country.
According to details, Iqbal reviewed the space program of the Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (Suparco) during his visit there.
He emphasised the need for the continuation of the policy for the prosperity of the country.
"There is a dire need to take measures to bring innovation to the technology," he said.

Few days back, Iqbal resolved to train the country's youth in the IT sector through Chinese cooperation.
Expressing his thoughts, Iqbal recounted the contributions made by the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz's (PML-N) government, asserting, "The PML-N led governments have distributed 1 million laptops among the students."
"1 million youngsters will get the education IT sector every year," Iqbal said.
He made it clear that the incumbent government was creating the opportunity to provide digital education.
