The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) has unveiled the preliminary schedule online, featuring over 71 designers who will showcase their collections throughout the week.

Key Events:
- Friday, September 8: Peter Do's debut show as creative director of Helmut Lang at 2 p.m., followed by Prabal Gurung's runway at 5 p.m.
- Saturday: Proenza Schouler at midday and Kim Shui closing the day at 9 p.m.
- Sunday: Ulla Johnson starts at 10 am, and 3.1 Phillip Lim returns to NYFW at 5 pm.
- Monday: Altuzarra at 2 p.m., followed by the Parsons MFA showing at 3 p.m.
- Throughout the week, catch shows from renowned designers like Anna Sui, Collina Strada, Dion Lee, Gabriela Hearst (her final show for Chloe), Khaite, and Tory Burch. However, Maryam Nassir Zadeh and Sandy Liang are absent from this season's schedule.
- Ralph Lauren makes a return to NYFW after last appearing in September 2019.
- Look out for promising newcomers such as Colin LoCascio, House of Aama, Grace Ling, Chan Chit Lo, and Sho Konishi.
- Raul Lopez, the 2022 CFDA Fashion Awards winner for Accessories Designer of the Year, closes the week with the LUAR show on Wednesday evening.
