Sources claimed that the prices of petroleum products in Pakistan are likely to decrease starting November 1.
The anticipated price adjustments align with global market trends and are expected to offer relief at the pumps.
According to reports, the price of petrol may drop by 3 rupees and 29 paisa per liter, while diesel prices could see a reduction of 3 rupees and 13 paisa. Additionally, light diesel oil is projected to decrease by 3 rupees and 32 paisa, and kerosene prices are expected to fall by 1 rupee and 42 paisa.
The oil industry has submitted a working paper on the proposed pricing changes to the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) for review.
If approved, these adjustments will provide much-needed relief to consumers ahead of the winter season.
