The Ministry of Religious Affairs launched the “Pak Hajj 2025” mobile application aimed at providing comprehensive assistance and guidance to Pakistani pilgrims preparing for the upcoming Hajj pilgrimage.
The app, which is available for both Android and iPhone users, offers a range of features designed to enhance the experience of those embarking on the sacred journey to Makkah and Madinah.
It has already been successfully used by pilgrims during last year's Hajj and is expected to be an essential tool in 2025 as well.
“The Ministry of Religious Affairs has introduced the Pak Hajj mobile app to enhance awareness among Hajj pilgrims,” stated the ministry in an official announcement. “Applicants will be kept informed at every step through the app.”
Key features of the app include access to detailed Hajj training schedules, with information on dates, times, and locations of training sessions. Pilgrims can also view their flight details, including flight numbers, departure cities, and schedules for both departure and return.
In addition to logistical support, the app offers navigational assistance, providing maps of crucial locations and routes in both Makkah and Madinah. This feature is designed to ensure a smoother pilgrimage experience, helping pilgrims navigate through the crowded cities with ease.
Saudi Arabia has allocated Pakistan a quota of 179,210 pilgrims for Hajj 2025. To facilitate the application process, 15 designated Pakistani banks have started accepting applications from intending pilgrims as of Monday.
