Renowned Indian commentator praised on Saturday Indian bowling all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy for scoring a brilliant century against Australia in the fourth Test in Melbourne on Saturday.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Bhogle said, “Really enjoyed calling the moment when Nitish got the landmark and sharing the emotion. It was beautiful. Something you look forward to as a broadcaster.”
In another tweet, Bhogle said, “So much emotion and joy. Amidst the tough and unyielding nature of our sport, it still leaves room for tender moments. That was beautiful.”
He acknowledged the temperament shown by the 21-year-old cricketer, saying, “Loving both the calmness and swag of Nitish Kumar Reddy.”
Despite the challenge, India were facing Nitish remained unbeaten on 176-ball 105, compiling 10 boundaries and one six on day three.
He will start the proceedings on day four along with Mohammed Siraj on 358-9.
