On Thursday, February 6, the UAE Dirham (AED) exchange rate in Pakistan witnessed gains, standing at Rs76.01 in the open market.
The selling rate also saw an increase of six paisas, reaching Rs76.28.

As of February 6, the UAE Dirham is being traded at Rs76.01 in the open market. Therefore, 1,000 Dirhams is equivalent to Rs76,010 in Pakistani currency.
The UAE and Pakistan share strong economic ties, with the Gulf country consistently extending support to Pakistan when needed.
Recently, the UAE rolled over two deposits of $1 billion each placed with Pakistan’s central bank for another year. Both countries are also engaging in various ventures, with a UAE firm recently investing in Pakistani ports.
The UAE is home to over two million Pakistani expatriates, who are actively involved in various employment sectors and business ventures.
These expatriates play a crucial role in sending remittances to Pakistan. In December 2024, inflows from the UAE rose by 2%, increasing from $619.4 million in November to $631.5 million.
