The price of gold in Pakistan bounced back again on Saturday, reflecting global market trends.
In the local market, the price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by Rs1,000, settling at the highest ever Rs308,000, according to data shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold hiked by Rs857, taking it to Rs264,060.

In the international market also, the price of gold saw a rise of $6 on Saturday, reaching $2,936 per ounce with an additional premium of $20.
However, the price of 24-karat silver in the local market plunged by a major Rs50, reaching Rs3,380 per tola.
