Former Indian cricketer Aakash Chopra has lavished praise on Virat Kohli after the batting sensation scored his 51st century during the fifth match of the Champions Trophy at the Dubai stadium on Sunday.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Chopra acknowledged the exceptional batting prowess of the Indian cricket stalwart and declared him as the “Kohli-Noor”.
Kohli had not only managed to notch up a century but also surpassed over 14,000 runs in international cricket.
But not only had he become the fastest batter to reach the milestone.
Expressing his thoughts following the match, Indian captain Rohit Sharma extolled the efforts of Kohli.
