Eight people were killed and around 18 others injured on Friday in a tragic accident on the Lahore-Islamabad Motorway (M-2) near the Neela Dulha Interchange.

According to rescue officials, five passengers died on the spot, while three others succumbed to their injuries at the hospital. A total of 43 passengers were onboard the ill-fated bus at the time of the accident. The injured were rushed to District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ) Chakwal for medical treatment.
