Australia powered to the semi-final after the 10th match against the Champions Trophy was interrupted due to the rain at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on Friday.
According to details, Australia were off to a flying start during their 274-run chase against Afghanistan. The Aussies had compiled 109 with the loss of Matthew Short (20) in 12.5 overs before the torrential rainfall in the Punjab’s provincial capital stopped the game.
Travis Head (59 off 40) and Steve Smith (19 off 22) were on the crease before the rain stopped the match.
For Afghanistan, Azmatullah Omarzai (1-43) bagged one wicket, but he conceded 43 runs in his first overs.

Mohammad Nabi (1), Gulbadin Nabi (4), Rashid Khan (19) and Noor Ahmad (6) failed to show any significant resistance with the bat.
Fazalhaq Farooqi remained unbeaten on 1-ball 0.
For Australia, Ben Dwarshius (3-47) bagged three wickets.
Adam Zampa (2-48) and Spencer Johnson (2-49) took two wickets apiece.
Glenn Maxwell (1-28) and Nathan Ellis (1-60) took a scalp each.
