A truck travelling along the highway in southern Bolivia collided with a bus early Monday morning, police said, pushing the bus off the road and killing at least 15 people.
The bus rolled around 500 meters (1640 ft) down a ravine, police said.
Nineteen wounded people have been sent to a local hospital, police said. Rescuers are working to recover the bodies of those killed, with the death toll estimated to be between 15 and 20 people.
The driver of the truck has been arrested, police added, while the cause of the accident is under investigation.
The crash comes just days after more than three dozen people were killed in the same region after two buses collided.
