Gold prices in Pakistan saw a notable increase on Monday, with the per tola rate rising by Rs1,100 to reach Rs 314,800, as per the latest data from the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA).
Similarly, the price of 10-gram 24K gold surged by Rs 943, bringing it to Rs 269,890, while 22K gold per 10 grams was recorded at Rs 247,408.
On the global front, gold prices also experienced an uptick, climbing $13 to settle at $2,997 per ounce.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged, with 24K silver per tola priced at Rs 3,530, and 10-gram silver at Rs 3,026.
Gold rates in Pakistan are influenced by fluctuations in the international market, coupled with currency exchange rate variations and investor sentiment.
Analysts suggest that if the trend continues, gold prices may see further highs in the coming days.
