In what is being dubbed as one of the most unique cases of the year, Khushab police have officially registered an FIR over the theft of a shoe worth Rs1,000.
The unusual case was filed on the complaint of Muhammad Khan, a resident of the Nali area, who approached the local police station after his newly purchased shoe was allegedly stolen. According to the FIR, Muhammad Khan had recently bought the footwear from a local market, only for it to mysteriously go missing shortly after.
While theft complaints are common, the relatively small value of the stolen item has made this case stand out. Yet, the police are treating the matter seriously and have reportedly formed special teams to trace and arrest the thief.
Authorities said they are investigating the incident and will pursue legal action once the suspect is apprehended.
