MNA Sher Afzal Marwat accused on Friday Aleema Khan of using YouTubers against him.
Sharing his thoughts on Samaa TV's programme "Mere Sawal with Absar Alam", Marwat said: “One of the YouTubers made a vlog targeting me on a request of any individual. I had to choose between joining Aleema Khan’s group or Bushra Bibi’s group.”
He added, “The PTI’s social media group is currently being controlled by Aleema Khan. She also looks after the aid received from the United States.”
Marwat claimed, “Aleema Khan used to send me videos containing abusive language directed at me.”
“We had to face behaviour that was contrary to human decency due to Aleema Khan,” he continued.
Marwat also stated, “Aleema Khan used to say hateful things, which is why I decided to part ways.”
“I made a complaint to PTI founder Imran Khan about Aleema Khan. 29 people appeared in the trial when I complained,” he added.
Marwat said, “The PTI founder had said that no one would take Aleema Khan’s calls. Imran Khan had instructed them [individuals within party] to block her number and to refrain from interfering in internal party matters.”
“Afterwards, these individuals openly turned against me. They were responsible for my expulsion from the party on three occasions,” he alleged.
“Thanks to Aleema Khan for removing me from the party,” Marwat took a jibe at Aleema.
He went on to say: “We tried to minimise interaction with these people as much as possible.”
“Everyone was present at the secretariat during Ramadan. Barrister Gohar Ali Khan had asked to go home for Iftar, but Aleema Khan insisted he cannot leave,” Marwat added.
“I was a hero within PTI before the 8 February general elections,” he added.
