US President Donald Trump has condemned the attack on tourists in occupied Kashmir.
On Tuesday, unidentified assailants opened fire on tourists at a tourist resort in Pahalgam, occupied Kashmir, killing 26 tourists and injuring several others.
According to Indian media, the incident took place at a tourist resort in Pahalgam, where most of the deceased were from Rajasthan, Karnataka, and Gujarat.
Condemning the incident, the US President said in his special statement that the news of the attack on tourists in occupied Kashmir was disturbing and he prays for the speedy recovery of those injured in the attack.
Trump said that he has deep sympathy for the families of those killed in the attack.
According to Indian media, the incident took place at a time when US Vice President JD Vance was on a visit to India, where he condemned the attack and expressed sympathy for the victims.
