Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Senator Irfan Siddiqui said on Wednesday that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, had fallen into his own trap.
Expressing his stance, Siddiqui said, "A fearful government does not move forward so quickly."
Siddiqui stated that the political parties had entered conflict with one another over the issue in question.
He asserted that all political matters ought to be resolved by the parties through mutual discussion.
"We are not like the PTI, which knows how to sit together, talk, or negotiate," he added.
"No one should think that Parliament will be dissolved because of the canal system issue," said Siddiqui.
"If the PPP has received the people's votes, then we have too," he concluded.
