Over two dozen Indian broadcasters will have to leave Pakistan due to the ongoing tensions between the two countries.
According to available details, the Pakistan-India tensions are affecting the tenth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL). In a communiqué issued by the National Security Council, Indian citizens were asked to leave Pakistan within 48 hours.
The broadcasting staff included an engineer, a player tracking speaker, and a production manager.
The broadcasters have raised their concerns with the PSL administration.
They have also instructed all staff members not to make any statements.
DIG Operations Faisal Kamran said: "The PCB and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs were looking into the issue of the visas of the Indian nationals who came for PSL production."
"Our responsibility was to provide them with security, which was being arranged in accordance with their status," said Kamran.
Moreover, the PSL administration and the broadcasters are seeking ways to manage the ongoing situation.
The PSL administration is considering to summon individuals from other countries, alongside the staff already available, to cover PSL X.
