Karachi continues to endure the heat wave as temperatures in the city are expected to hover between 36°C and 38°C today.
The hot and humid weather shows no sign of relenting, with the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) confirming that the heat wave will persist.
The city, already experiencing high temperatures in recent days, is likely to witness an elevated humidity level ranging from 45% to 55% by evening, making the weather feel even more uncomfortable for residents.
The PMD has urged the public, especially vulnerable groups such as the elderly and children, to take precautions to avoid heatstroke. The department also advised that people stay hydrated and limit outdoor activities during peak heat hours.
With no immediate relief in sight, Karachiites are bracing for more sweltering days ahead.
