Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) senior leader Asad Qaiser made it clear on Thursday that discussions with Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Fazlur Rehman did not revolve around political matters.
Addressing the media after meeting Rehman, Qaiser underlined the cultural values of the Pashtun community, saying, "Sharing both joy and sorrow with political opponents is ingrained in the Pashtun cultural heritage."
Earlier, PTI bigwigs Asad Qaiser and Ali Mohammad Khan condoled the death of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazlur Rehman (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s mother-in-law.
The PTI stalwarts held a meeting with Fazlur Rehman in Islamabad.
It was reported that Asad Qaiser and Ali Mohammad Khan had also engaged in discussions about the prevailing political landscape in the country with Rehman.

– Durrani meets Rehman –
Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) supremo Maulana Fazlur Rehman and senior politician Muhammad Ali Durrani exchanged views on the country’s political situation on Tuesday.
Durrani called on Rehman in Islamabad. On this occasion, Durrani condoled the death of Fazl’s mother-in-law.
The two leaders also underscored other matters, including the general elections in the country.

Addressing the workers’ convention in Multan, Rehman said: “The JUI-F has always struggled for the masses’ rights. The JUI-F’s Million March had proved the party to be one of the country’s biggest political forces.”
“We did not create obstacles for the power for which we were kept out of parliament,” Rehman rued.
He made it clear that his party will stage protests if there is rigging in the upcoming elections. “We are not going to give away our rights if they are snatched,” he added.
Few days back, Rehman said on Saturday that it will be challenging to uplift the country’s economy.
