All nine terrorists, who earlier today attacked the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Training Airbase in Mianwali, have been killed following a combing and clearance operation after the early morning attack.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) of the armed forces, none of the Pakistan Air Force’s functional operational assets were harmed, however only three non-operational grounded aircraft were damaged.
Earlier on Saturday morning, it was reported that three terrorists were killed when the security forces foiled an attack on the PAF Training Airbase.
A group affiliated with the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) later claimed responsibility for the attack.
According to the ISPR, alleged terrorists attacked the Pakistan Air Force Training Air Base Mianwali in the early hours of Saturday, which was foiled by the security forces through timely action, ensuring the safety and security of personnel and assets.

A statement issued by the ISPR said that a joint clearance and combing operation was in its final stages, and the armed forces were determined to end the scourge of terrorism at any cost.
Meanwhile, the Tehreek-e-Jihad Pakistan (TJP), a newly emerged group that is an affiliate of the TTP, claimed responsibility in a statement to media.
It should be noted that 14 soldiers were martyred in a terrorist attack in Balochistan on Friday.
According to the ISPR, the soldiers were killed when alleged terrorists had attacked two vehicles of the security forces that were on their way to Ormara in Balochistan.
The ISPR further said the incident occurred when the security convoy was moving from Pasni to Ormara in Gwadar district. The terrorists were already waiting to ambush the vehicle and attacked it as it approached.
